Long before I called myself a comedian or host, I was the person friends and family trusted to make every moment memorable.
Believe it or not, my career began in corporate finance. And if we’re being totally honest, I was mostly there to fund my globe-trotting lifestyle in my twenties. But somewhere between spreadsheets and international adventures, I discovered a passion that had nothing to do with numbers.
The first chapter of my creative journey began somewhere I would have never predicted: Indian weddings. One minute I was a guest, the next I was being handed a mic, making a speech, performing a skit, or choreographing a dance. Before I knew it, I was involved in multiple weddings a year and I loved it. I found myself fascinated by the ability to entertain and elevate the vibe of an event.
That realization inspired me to take improv and stand-up comedy classes while still working full-time. The more I performed, the more confident I became behind the mic, eventually finding my way into stand-up comedy, producing live shows, hosting events, and performing on camera. What started as a passion evolved into a career built around storytelling, connection, and creating moments people remember.
I may not have stayed in finance forever, but I definitely kept the useful parts. Years of budgets, forecasts, deadlines, and corporate meetings taught me how to plan, communicate, collaborate, and most importantly, get 👏 things 👏 done. Now I just get to apply those skills to projects I’m genuinely excited about.
Today, I bring both sides of my experience to everything I do: the creativity to dream it up, the business acumen to make it happen, and the energy to make it unforgettable.
